- Improving the usability of existing training and support materials

Greater customer satisfaction, marked improvement in the quality of work and an increase in end-user
productivity are just a few of the benefits you will notice when you provide educational services during your SAP implementation. Our programs ensure your end-users are knowledgeable and fully prepared to perform their tasks. Individuals are more productive when they fully understand your organization’s objectives, ultimately increasing your return on investment.
Training end-users is a key element of any SAP implementation. With properly trained users, a business can realise its return on investing in SAP. We have a wealth of experience in SAP training to bring to SAP implementation projects.
Our approach is to consider the learning needs of the end users. The training solutions we deliver are based around the business procedures and activities that users perform. Learning SAP transactions is integrated as a tool of the trade.
Our training approach spans the full training life-cycle from initial training needs analysis through to delivery of training in a range of media. We can also provide post go-live support.
Primarily we deliver training solutions for a number of SAP modules. Additionally we have experience to provide training solutions for a range of ERP and CRM software. Our case histories demonstrate the solid experience
and success that we could apply to your implementation.
Our services span the full training life-cycle, covering:
- Management of training projects
- Training needs analysis
- Course design
- Course development
- Course delivery
In determining the training approach and course design, we focus on the business procedures that users will follow and their day-to-day tasks. The training we deliver is a hands-on pragmatic approach rather than
theoretical.
The medium of training is decided in discussion with the project team and can include any or a combination of the following:
- Classroom training - short presentations and hands-on exercises
- Computer-based training (CBT) using On Demand or STT
- One-on-one or small-group sessions
- Lecture style presentations to large groups for overview sessions, for example.
We develop the training materials using the tools decided upon in discussion with the project team. The tools
can include:
- Resite
- InfoPak
- PowerPoint
- Word
Preparation of the training client is an important part of getting ready for delivering demonstrations and hand-on exercises. Where possible we use data relevant to the users' business. This may be copied from test scenarios.
Training Approach
LSA has made a significant investment in developing specific methodologies and tools that enable our professionals to be more productive and better leverage our collective expertise. Using our training methodology and our business process understanding, our focus is on “knowledge-transfer”. This ensures your resources
are trained on the system and will eventually become self-sufficient in using SAP software. Our approach is
proven and ensures your SAP training solution is implemented on time and within budget. Its flexibility allows for
a scalable approach for projects of various sizes and durations. One of our new methodologies for training is Webinar, i.e. training through the web. This has become highly popular in situations where groups of people at different locations have to be trained simultaneously.
